Sapphire Introduction
Sapphire, is a type of corundum. Most of natural Gem are classified as sapphire, except ruby, diamond etc. The main compound of sapphire is aluminium oxide (Al2O3). The purity of synthetic sapphire is much higher than natural ones. The mohs hardness of sapphire is up to 9, second only to diamond. It is widely used in military force, high-end watch mirror and some advanced devices.
